How to use Savogran Dirtex Cleaner

Painted and varnished surfaces: Mix two tablespoons in one gallon of warm water (makes a mild, pale yellow solution). Dirtex dissolves fast. Start washing from the bottom of walls upward to avoid streaking. Squeeze sponge or cloth to a damp condition to avoid splashing and run-off. Do not allow spots or puddles to stand on floors. Hardwood floors are subject to discoloration from water spots.

Ceilings: Using same strength cleaner as above, wash ceiling surfaces in small areas. Clean each area well, then move on to the next. Be careful not to drip cleaner on hardwood floors or other surfaces subject to water spotting.

Floors: For asphalt, rubber, vinyl or linoleum use the same strength solution as above. Wring excess cleaner from mop or sponge, then clean dirt from surface, mopping floor in areas approximately 5 feet square. Do not allow cleaner to stand in puddles on floor. If this strength solution does not clean well in first area, add a small quantity of Dirtex to solution and clean area again. Be economical, a little Dirtex cleaner does a lot of work.

Hardwood floors: With a very mild solution: one tablespoon per gallon of warm water, wipe over floor only with damp mop. Do not allow spots of water or cleaner to lay on the hardwood floors. These woods are subject to discoloration from water or cleaner.

Ceramic tile, bathroom fixtures, refrigerators, stoves, appliances, cabinets, kitchen counters: Mix a solution as mild as possible to accomplish the job. Start with 2 teaspoonful per gallon of warm water. If this solution does not clea away accumulated dirt, add more Dirtex until cleaner removes dirt and grime.
